For Lilly

Some things are well worth the wait.
Tylor completed Lilly's airplane that has been his ongoing project.. since her birthday (in October).Turns out, things take longer than planned when you have 4 kids, huh, who knew?
As with all things Tylor made... I just love it.
Actually, I've begun what I'll call a "subtle campaign " {wives don't nag they encourage ;) } for him to create some of our designs as wood toys for my Etsy shop. As with all my great ideas, we'll all just wait and see what comes of it!
::fingers crossed::

Oh, little wood airplane
you will be treasured for many years to come,
& not just by Lilly :)
Guess What!?

The funniest thing is
I didn't even realize it until Leanne over at folkcraft gave me a mention on her blog & the heads up! So thanks again Leanne!

one down..

So...
I've been kinda lame about blogging lately...but, I have been busily knitting. Totally charmed by the idea of knitting each of my little ones socks, I've set out on another of my wild and crazy tangents and have actually finished one set!

Lilly just loves her little socks, and her beloved sleeper (which she has been practically living in) was immediately discarded so that she could properly try them on. ::photo not included ::

but trust me it was hilarious.
